Craig Beals from Beals Science explains how your breath can be frozen and turned to a liquid inside a balloon using liquid nitrogen. The gas law named Charles’s Law explains that as the temperature of gas decreases, so does the volume. Liquid Nitrogen causes the temperature of Craig’s breath to get so low that the gases in his breath turn to liquid or, in the case of carbon dioxide and water, turn to a solid. Then, watch as Craig drinks (or eats) his frozen breath.
