Homemade Liquid Soap, Making Bubble Bath From Scratch
In this video I go through some learning difficulties. But isn’t that how you get better at something, learn as you go. Here I use the alcohol method described in Catherine Failors book. After making this recipe I now know I would have been better off doing the glycerin method because of the high amount of hard oils in this recipe. I am in no way professional liquid soap maker and I am learning as I go, and I thought I would take you all along with me through the process.

I strongly suggest that you have a very good understanding on how to make both hot process and cold process soap before trying to make liquid soap. The summer bee meadow advanced lye calc is the best one to use to formulate a liquid soap recipe.
For book reference I suggest you 1st do research on liquid soap and invest in Catherine Failor’s book “soapmaking” natural liquid soaps. I got mine off Amazon for .59 cents and 3.99 shipping. She has a newer book out but it’s all the same info just a newer copy of the book.
